OUR GOAL
GAME for Good aims at promoting standards of good practices, developing practical tools, information and reference guides for good governance, management and accountability of public benefit organizations, and disseminating to build public awareness for promotion of efficiency and effectiveness of charities/public benefit organizations for the benefit of the Hong Kong community.
PUBLIC EDUCATION
To build an open platform to enhance public understanding of the concept and practice of good governance
To collaborate with non-profit organizations and experienced professionals to hold public seminar to promote the concept of good governance for the general public, registered charities and public benefit organizations
KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT & SHARING
To develop a pool of experienced resources persons to give guidance and support to registered charities on a voluntary basis
To organize and support activities that raise the awareness and capacities of public benefit organizations in good governance and public accountability
To explore collaboration with academic institutions to develop practice guides and references of good governance and management for public benefit organizations
PROMOTE VOLUNTARISM AND TRUSTEESHIP IN CHARITABLE AND PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANIZATIONS
To organize or support activities promoting good trusteeship
To support activities to identify, engage and enhance the capacity of volunteers serving in the governance of registered charities and public benefit organizations
